BIBS pacifiers are made in Denmark and have been a favorite for both moms and babies for over forty years, the BIBS natural rubber baby pacifier allows your child to self-soothe by exercising their instinctive sucking instinct in the most natural way possible, by mimicking both the shape and soft materials of mothers’ breast. Their classic appearance captures a look that’s both timeless and elegant.  All BIBS pacifiers are made from 100% natural latex and are lead and pthalate free.

It is recommended to replace latex pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of regular use.

Care Instructions:

Sterilize each pacifier before use. Bring water to a boil and pour boiling water over pacifiers. Let the pacifiers soak for approx. 5 minutes. Pick them up and let them dry. The pacifier nipples may retain water, simply squeeze the nipple to release and lay to cool and dry for 3-4 hours. If the pacifier shows any irregularities, we recommend that you discard right away. Due to our pacifiers being made with natural rubber, the nipple may expand with use.

HOW TO STERILIZE THE PACIFIERS
When cleaning the pacifier, just follow these four simple steps:

1) Put the pacifiers in a clean bowl
2) Pour them with boiling water
3) Let the pacifiers soak for approx. 5 min.
4) Pick them up and let them dry

The vast majority of pacifiers are with valve. If the nipple has a valve, be sure to squeeze excess water out of the seat part when the nipple is sufficiently cooled.

TIP: When the child is over 3 months old, you can also rinse the pacifier by placing them in a sieve and pouring them with boiling water. This method is partly faster and partly avoids water collecting inside the seat part.

Caution! We often receive inquiries from parents who have followed the National Board of Health's recommendation to cook the pacifier for 5 minutes before first use and daily afterwards. The result is broken pacifiers. DO NOT COOK. They are not meant to be boiled and are therefore destroyed by the high heat.

Instead, follow the instructions above, and you are sure to kill the bacteria without compromising the durability of the pacifier.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CLEAN THEM?

Part of good sucking hygiene is the frequent cleaning of the pacifiers. The younger the child, the more important it is to protect it from bacteria and to maintain good pacifier hygiene. This is due, among other things, to the fact that the child's immune system has not yet managed to get acquainted with quite a number of different bacteria, and therefore also will not have learned to "defend" against them yet.

Premature infants and babies up to 3 months need more thorough and frequent cleaning than babies over 3 months of age. Therefore, the pacifier must be cleaned more often when the child is under 3 months.

0-3 months: The pacifier must be scalded every time it has been on the floor. In addition, the pacifier must be scalded at least once a day.
3+ months: Rinse the pacifier once a day and rinse it under the cold tap if it has been on the floor.

WARNING:
For your baby’s safety always inspect the product carefully before each use. Especially when the baby has teeth. Pull the pacifier in all directions. Discard it at the first sign of damage or weakness. Only use dedicated pacifier holders tested to EN 12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords to a pacifier, your baby may be strangled by them. The pacifier is not allowed to be stored in direct sunlight.

    When you place an order with us, you will automatically receive and email notification verifying your purchase. If there is a problem with your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.

    Shipping cost for furniture orders will be assessed based on # of pieces purchased and distance.  We will do our best to get you the best rate possible and email it to you within 48 hours. Once you have paid your shipping if you choose to cancel your order there will be a 3% fee to cover the credit card charges both for the furniture order and the shipping cost.

    For out of stock items, we will email you with the estimated ship date.  From there you can decide if you would like to wait or cancel your order.  If you choose to proceed with your order it will be deemed a special order and cannot be canceled after we have secured the goods for you.  

    Pre-Orders and Speical Orders will be fufilled in the order they are recieved.  Items that are held to ship all at once cannot be cancled.  These are a final sale. Once a pre-ordered item has been invoiced to us it can no longer be canceled  it will be shipped as soon as it arrives

    Currently we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express using our secure server to ensure your privacy and security.

    Sales Tax

    If your order is shipped to an address in California, Texas or Oklahoma applicable sales taxes will be added to your order.

    Returns

    You have 10 days from the date of invoice to return your purchase. The returned item(s) must be unused and in original condition, with the original package. All documentation, parts and accessories must be included to ensure full credit. NO full refunds, store credit or exchange only.

    No refunds will be issued on items that are refused or returned to sender.  If your item requires signature most freight carriers will make 3 attempts.  It is your responsibility to connect with them to receive your product.  If it is not signed for and retuned to us you will be responsible for the additional costs and a store credit is pending an investigation. 

    We can not accept returns on items that appear to have been used, are soiled or appear to have been washed, or that have been damaged due to misuse or mishandling. Personalized items and personal care items such as breast pumps, breastfeeding accessories and undergarments are a final sale and can not be returned.

    Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

    Defective Items

    Please contact us within 10 days of the date of invoice if your purchase is defective. All products are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. 

    Damaged Items

    If your order arrives at your door damaged, broken or defective, we will either replace the broken parts if possible or ship out a new one at our discretion and at our expense. Please be sure to inspect your item(s) carefully for any concealed damage.

    Contact StorkLand within 7 business days of the delivery date to report the damage. Please email pictures showing issues to storkland@storkland.com. Please be sure to have information such as model number, serial number, date of manufacture and any part numbers available. We will not be able to replace damaged merchandise if we are not notified within 7 business days of the delivery date. This applies to canceling and returning a damaged item as well.

    Requests for replacement parts will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that we are not able to express ship replacement pieces.

    Order Cancellations

    If you wish to cancel your order, please call us as soon as possible. All order cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card fee recovery.  If your order is a "special Order" or and Order that we did not have instock but we have aquired for you...this order cannot be canceled once we (StorkLand) has been invoiced.  If your order has already shipped, our normal return policy will apply.
